Observations regarding PPP jalsa in Gharhi Khuda Baksh…1) There was not even a single national flag of Pakistan flattering in the complete gathering…(2) There was not even a single portrait of Quaid-e-Azam or Dr Allama Iqbal being waved in the complete gathering…(3) There was not even a single national slogan being raised in the jalsa…(4) No national anthem…No milli tarana/milli naghma…(5) Not even a single speaker made a mention of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah or Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal in his speech…(6) No crowd discipline whatsoever… Minimum response of the spectators/audience to the speakers…(7) The leaders were speaking while hiding themselves behind bullet proof rostrum while standing in front of Bhutto Mausoleum and that too in-front of own jiyalas…(8) No vision or action plan/strategy being presented to make peaceful, prosperous, stable and stronger Pakistan…(9) No recognition of sacrifices of masses and military men made in war on terror…(10) Minimum participation of women in the jalsa and those who were present did not look like to be attentive to whatever was being said to them… (11) The main theme of speech of Aitezaz Ahsan was to shower praises on own party and leadership(past and present)…It was a “chumcha girri speech”…Most probably he had been given the chance to speak to try and stop more party leaders getting disgruntled/disenchanted with own party/party leadership and joining PTI…If this was what Aitezaz Ahsan ( One of the most educated/qualified/experienced person in PPP) had to offer to the people then God help this party and awam…

Well who ever said the PPP is a nationalistic party. Its a Bhutto Party. Not a Pakistani Party. That is where you confusions lies i guess.

They know that even if the people's party leaders sell them, the jiyalas still will be voting for them they don't need anything from their leaders.

Some people give Aitzaz more credit than he deserves. While I appreciate his efforts among many others (notably IK and lawyers, also give NS some credit) to restore CJ Iftikhar, I have known all along that he is a blind PPP follower thru and thru (the way he uttered uneducated stuff like 'yeh mitti laraz jai gee agar Bibi ko exhume kiya' or something similar)
He is well-educated but a very 'kharant' banda at the same time

People like Aitzaz are good people but unfortunately they chose a wrong/bad leader and are still sticking to that, if they chose to jump the ship whether its PTI or PML-N or ANP I will appreciate that.

What this has to do with the death anniversary? I think you are confusing IK jalsa with this geathering which was only for paying respect to dead PPP leader who was killed in Rawalpindi in 2007.
Yeh naee IK ki drama baazi sirf votes haasil karnay ke leiay hay, which is unfortunately not applicable here.

It was always about Bhutto and will always be. Jealous? I don’t give a rats behind if someone wants to stick his nose in a dirty behind, I just wish people make choices based on right and wrong, not because of baap-daada did this and that.
