This is not to offend anybody…i apologise in advance if anyone is offended…
but i came across this video…and i had to ask about it…whether things this guy is saying hold any weight within Shia Brothers or not…
There are many things said…i would just like to know whether the things he says are correct as per Shia School of thought…
NomiCA.....his words probably hold as much weightage as bin laden's words for Muslims..........if u wish to study any subject then refer to its scholars and not story tellers..........
He's a so called 'zakir' from Lucknow and migrated to Karachi in the 60s, he never even went to any hawzah in Iran or Iraq to be an actual maulana.. I have no idea why these people are going all wah wah.. Maybe this majlis was in India.
The culture of azadari has a very rich and varied background. And obviously just like with all rituals, its most serious proponents will always find excuses to back up their argument. That is not the
opinion of mainstream 12er imami scholars on these issues. However, unfortunately little is done to prohibit and discourage these practices amongst the general public. In recent years with more
influence from middleeast in pakistani 12er imami scholars there have been a few weak attempts at reformation.
Also bear in mind this user subscribes to "jhangvibrigade" channel so most likely reason of posting this is mud slinging at each other.
I think we have answered your quires in the above posts. As far as the question for followers is concerned, people follow all sorts of people like bin laden, mullah umer, this guy and many other such people who shouldn’t be considered as authorities when learning or discussing faith.
I feel sorry for the audience who are plain dumb. Be it Sunni or Shia, when things like 'zuljinah ne beta diya' or 'such and such is khuda' and other crap in this video are uttered from the mimbar, the speaker should be thrown out of the masjid right away. I hope some people would have wanted that in that crowd.
A lot of BS is said on mimber from both sides to prove their points. This is absolutely ridiculous.

whatever the reason...whoever the poster...the question is about whats being said.....so you don't need to make assumptions why i posted it here and i made it very clear in my first post.....

the fact that both sets ascribe themselves to be muslims, and claim to follow RasoolAllah to accept the beliefs of the other party is a grosss sin imo. also ALL the ridiculous beliefs seem to be coming from one side, so i do hold the views of those who seem to hate shiaism very highly
^ bro people have been criticizing 12er imami beliefs long before the self proclaimed defenders of "ismat-e-sahaba" appreared on the horizon.Their criticizms are nothing new
but have political motivation controlled by foreign powers. After 1979 iran and KSA both sought to gain influence in religious groups in pakistan and jhangvis were a product of those times.
Just because you want to oppose 12er imami shia beliefs does not neccesarily mean that the oppositte of what they say in every respect must also be true ! enemy of my enemy is my friend
does not work very well in religious issues

not making assumptions about ur intentions u r getting unneccesarily defensive
not making assumptions about ur intentions u r getting unneccesarily defensive
"unneccesarily"?? when you make an 'unnecesary' comment........i can be 'unneccesarily defensive' too..innit??
I was just suggesting that.......when u do not discuss the content being talked about i.e (the words being spoken by the guy in the video) and go on to browse the profile of the person who posted the video...and then look for his subscription......and then talk about that poster's intention....you seem to come across as not openly talking about the question being asked about what that guy said....instead trying to call it 'mudslinging'.....
anyways..i am out.......the thread was locked...then opened..and whatnot...
I would also like to know the status of Zuljinah (the current practice of preparing a horse for that purpose) in Shia tradition, or lets say at least the concepts where most of Shia Ulema agree upon. There are many stories that I have heard, most of them I do not believe are true about it all. A little clarification would make things much better.
shardmanny, I meant people let it loose when talking against other sect and make these kinds of nonsense statements on mimber be it Shia or Sunnis. Sunnis mostly fight with each other. Shia Zakir come up with fabricated stories on their will to prove a point and the 'logic' that they are mastered in goes beyond the fold of sanity.
i m really sad after watching this video.. these type of zakir's and mualvis are distracting people from the straight path.. but the question is why people follow these story tellers.. why they do not follow Quran and hadith.. its a great source and have a complete guide for every Muslim..
I read Zameer Akhtar Naqvi's book ZulJanah... didnt read the whole thing but i thought it was pretty Interesting. More over i never thought it was a requirement to go to a hawza in Iraq or Iran to become an Aalim.
