We just experienced power outage for about 3 hours. It felt like as if life just stopped. But it forced us brothers to sit down and just talk to each other that we normally don’t do because of time/schedule/work conflict. Then we went out to eat Pizza 
and came home and -------->

And the funny thing is that the houses across the street had power. It was only our side. The whole line of houses had no power and the weather wasn’t bad, just a few clouds and light rain

The blackout was in 2003, three years ago… and it went all the way to canada as well, not just the tri-state area…
And yes i think blackouts can be romantic
