Is the current power crisis real?
re: Power Crisis or Fight for Power
It would be stupid of the government to create a false crisis because it is doing more damage to them than anybody else.
re: Power Crisis or Fight for Power
^^ yes you have point, actually every sensible person will think the same, but do you think the govt have any sense when it comes to policy making and find their way out of crisis, it has been over two years and still we are having 15 hrs + power cuts? not a single line (sensible) expailnation from the govt on this... everytime they open their mouth... rental power comes or they cry for something else...
anyway, our politcians are well versed of the game called, covering crisis with another crisis... and this is where we have reached...
re: Power Crisis or Fight for Power
I saw tarbela dam 3 days before the 18-22 hrs load shedding was imposed. it showed no sign of severe water shortage. It's not like india bloacked 100% of the water in the next 3 days. So I am unable to understand what brought this dam to a dead level within 3 days immediately. The shortage of water was made an excuse to take away the basic need of power from pakisrani nation.
Has anyone noticed how indians have seized claiming dawood ibrahim to be in pakistan & demanding to hand him over to them for quite a while now? I dont know how much of their claim about his base in karachi was true. And I dont know if his actual base in in dubai. But I think indians are now using the power he has in the underworld & running affairs of Pakistan to bring Pakistanis to the state they are in.
Otherwise, I cannot believe why all of a sudden indians have seized squeaking about his ‘evils’. Either he is working to fulfil indian agenda or he is being used to cause total destruction of Pakistan through the same mental exploitation & brain washing that Indians are excellent at which they carry out against Pakistanis through out the world.

it has been over two years

In the last two years the problem may have aggravated, but it could be foreseen several years earlier. THAT was the time when planning should have been started. But it was not.
Sure present government is responsible, but I think the fauji government bear even more responsibility for the present crisis. Fauji government is always a bad thing, regardless of how good their intentions may be.

I disagree with the article, according to him/her there was no power crisis before Lal Masjid saga, thats nothing but BS.

Could be to divert attention from other crisis as well as invite "investment" hence some % commission :D

During 2002-2007 atleast 3 power projects (close to 600MW) came to completion (from start to complete), can you list ONE project that was started by this government and is completed or is in process of completion? Thanks.
