Its effectivly Asaia + NZL V The Brirs, actually the English. Should be fun, cant wait to see Walshy bowl again.

shud be fun to see if afridi can really power this game....

I am not sure if everyone followed the link and read complete story. This "Power Cricket" will comprise of 4 innings, 15 overs each. I am not sure exactly how it will work, perhaps something like Baseball? anyone knows details?

I think the format will be like a test match where both teams bat twice but the difference is that each team will bat for 15 overs than the next team bat for 15 overs and the next bats for 15 more overs and the at the end of the day having most runs will win.

I hope this match will be broadcasts in North America.

kabhi team me 16 members hotay hain, kabhi 15 over ki innings....

and not to forget the last two series (pso series and icc trophy) have ended with two teams sharing the cup.....

perhaps they are trying to make the game more attractive to more nations like Iran whose King rejected the game after watching it for 5 days with no result :).

the other major market could be America where shorter games attract more people than whole days game, what to say of 5 day game.

they want to invent newer cricket for "more" people.

They are taking the fun away. Who cares about other countries to join in cricket I think we have enough countries to take on each other and have fun rather than spoil the fun. I woul tell ICC to shut up and leave the game alone.

at what time will this is going to start, it will be exciting to watch, is it been telecased somehwere on the net!!

Here is the results for the 1st match

I cant unerstand .When Wasim and Anwar can play in this stupid game thenw hy cant the play for country. PCB needs to take action against them and show them door.

I think Neither of these 2 are fit enough to sustain 5 days of test cricket, and thats why they arent playing test cricket anymore. They can play One Day cricket however. Even PCB knows this and realizes this and thus no action against these great players.
