Powell: Saddam Is 'Piece of Trash' to Be Collected

Wow. I wonder what got into Colin Powell calling Saddam “a piece of trash waiting to be collected.” It’s usually Rummy who comes up with these great descriptive one-liners like “dead enders.”

Powell: Saddam Is ‘Piece of Trash’ to Be Collected

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Secretary of State Colin Powell on Wednesday called former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein “a piece of trash waiting to be collected” but declined to say how long it may take U.S. forces to find him.
“Saddam Hussein is no longer bad news. He’s a piece of trash waiting to be collected,” Powell told Reuters in an interview.

“The noose is tightening but I can’t speculate on how close one might be to actually capturing Saddam Hussein.”

:)

I guess that depends on what color box they find him in. What is it.... red is for recycling plastics, white for recycling paper products, and blue for disposing of brutal, maniacal tyrants?

this American color coding trash is rubbish.

Re: Saddam is “A Piece of Trash”

I heard in news that US military has geared up its effort to capture Saddam Hussein, means US on a trash collecting mission in Iraq?? :rotfl:

Saddam might be a peace of trash, but the American upper echelon is no better, and resorted to name calling like a normal street gangster or better yet like high school thugs bullying others.
Words like that are not becoming of the leaders of the wealthiest/strongest nation in the world. Shameful.

Yeah first if they can find their imaginary Weapons of Mass Destruction. :hehe:

I have to agree with fayax on this one.

Pretty childish behavior of our American leaders.

Probobly be seeing more as elections start to heat up..

Though I suppose name calling is no more childish than having Bush Senior's likeness on the ground for people to walk on....
