What can you make with pound cake besides trifle. Can you make a pakistani meetha dish with pound cake? We have a Family potluck on Tuesday, one of my coworker really wants me to make a pakistani dish. I have 3 pound cakes sitting in my fridge and I want to use them/finish them… so help me folks!

you can make bread pudding out of pancake ... its soooo yummmy!
I also use it in ice cream sandwiches ... toasting the pound cake first make is extra good.
Or just serve it with fresh fruit (strawberries, peaches) cut up and piled on top + giant dollop of whipped cream ....... kinda like a strawberry shortcake.

I was thinking the same thing that you can make Shahi tukray with it.

how about:
1) Pineapple Delight - cut up cake into cubes. Take 1 can crushed pineapple(liquid included) and mix with 1 packet of vanilla pudding mix and 1 container of cool whip. Let it sit for a bit in the fridge. Then in a bowl simply layer cake, then the pineapple mixture....and top it off with whipped cream. A little trifle like, but different
2) Grill it, but also get fresh pineapple. Core and cut into thin slices. Sprinkle a little brown sugar on both sides, grill the slices till brown n caramelized and serve on a slice of grilled poundcake, with a dollop of whipped cream
so i love pineapple :)

we just eat it as it is, with tea or a glass of milk lol
to make it more dessert-ish , whipped cream +strawberries+ dry crushed coconut, yumm not really pakistani but i love it :)

You can toast or bake the cake pieces for sometime so they become little brown and crunchy for shahi tukray

I just ended up making trifle and it was a hit. :)
