Can I get a tried and tasted and awesome recipe for a simple pound cake? Also anyone know how to make those yellow tea cakes you have in Pakistan. Was really craving them last night :bummer:

no no. i think it’s a pound cake, but they put in yellow food coloring, so it’s yellow. :bummer: usually served with tea. but it tastes divine! :hayaa:

once i said the same to one of my friend who bake real good and her reply was " wanna put on some more pounds ? " and i was like:bummer: so didn’t bother to get the recipe ever again

If its just the colour they add to the pound cake and not a cake rust then just them to give you the yellow colour pound cake no problem.

nahh it just doesn't taste the same as the stuff you get from the bakery

well go to any bakery in pakistan and you get that cake. i mean we tried making it at home once but it had a different taste. dunno what they put in thta cake.

so no one who can give away a recipe? :bummer:

Once I get the tast of it, then maybe will give the receipe (I’ll have to make a visit to pakistan first.)
