and how did that help in her kids personality building in the long term?
I am sorry but I have no idea why we have this obsession, to the verge of being competitive about when our kids are being potty trained and when would the stop drinking from bottle. I’ve seen ladies talking about it with pride that oh my kid started drinking from cup at age 1 or what not. How does that matter when they are 16, if they started pooping in commode at age 1 or 3, or even 5? Same with bottle.
I personally think (and ladies please dont kill me for it) that moms nowadays are creating unnecessary standards of parenting. I always told my wife not to be worried about our kids potty training and bottle quitting time, and now they are 6 and 9 and we dont even remember when they did all that, we just know that we did not lose our sleep on it, cause it just happened naturally.
