ive got a few clay tradtional looking simple pots, any ideas in how to paint them ? how do i achieve that gloss look?

what kind of pots are those? flower pots?
they are normal ceramic pots that you get from nurseries here in Paakistan...plain! they are simple in cylinder shape and some in traditional simple cone shaped. really need ideas on how to paint them! ive got them up on my terrace, which is orange bricked!
