Some years back I was crazy for each and every pankaj ghazal. I didnt considered any one ( including jagjit ) even close to him. Now I rate jagjit good as well but pnkaj is still best for me.

pankaj sings mostly geet and not ghazals I am not talking about his sharabi jhankar !!!
Pankaj is a very good geet singer but currently there is no one like Jagjit Singh, Ghulam ali and anop jalota, haree haran salman alvi are good but in my books jagjit on top…

^ Jagjit has natural tendency towards very heavy base. You will not find him singing with high pitch . He is very good specially his delivery of words is unmatched , but high sonics I think pankaj is really really gifted...
Jagjit has his own class specially his ghalib ghazals r awesome.
I will never place salman alvi or hare haran in the class of jagit or pankaj.
