Well, this is not usually the type of threads I like to post, but…I’d like to know how do you judge members through their posts, what makes you take them seriously:hmmm: and think that they have something interesting to say whenever you see their nicknames in a thread so you make sure you read it? and what makes you lose interest?
I noticed many member use too much smilies while posting a “serious” reply,:halo: well..when that happens, I don’t consider the post as a serious one. They mess up their replies this way.
Actually, not really. Look @ it this way. Let’s say that we were talking about something on oh…let’s say religion. Now, how would posting smilies make my reply inferior to others. I look @ it like this way: If we were talking on religion (sitting in front of each other), I or you would smile (use similar smilies on GS) while talking as not to make the other person uncomfortable. And smiling wouldn’t make my or ur reply less “true” (I’ll use true for lack of a better term). I look @ it the same way when it comes to smilies.
Conclusion: No matter how serious the topic is, smilies don’t irritate me.
