It is kinda weird that in the image central section of the forum I can’t post images. “IMG” tag is turned off. Whats with that?

u have to upload teh image on GS in the img section :)

This is exactly the reason I don't really post in Image Section any more. We should have a choice of using IMG code if needed.

we wouldn't want a thread jiski pic goes poof in thin air after a few days...

the problem that comes with img tag is that its vulnerable to external links

IMG tags are on in Rangon ka Shajar section. There is no reason to block them elsewhere ...

we have selectively allowed img here and there; mostly in less important forums. those who object have no idea on how to run a sustained forum. in the past when external images were removed, our posts became orphans. not allowing that again. as a matter of fact, very soon i am going to turn off all external img locations.
we are however sensitive to your needs. i am rewriting the uploader where you can easily just insert the url of the external image and we will yank it down for you.
