I just read the other thread, and pity it has been locked. I do want to voice a different perspective on this. I don’t know about you, but facebook’s privacy issues have been in flux. There was a time when you would post a picture up there and it would never be found on google search, and now, if you don’t have privacy settings up, it will be found on google search.
The thing is, many pics are now available on google images simply because people didn’t get with the program when it came to privacy settings. I know that I’ve put up full privacy settings, and yet the main picture on my facebook profile, always shows up on a google images search.
I think some common sense should be excercised when it comes to posting peoples’ facebook pictures. While the picture may be accessible by some glitch, or by some ignorance on the part of that person, the fact that the picture is being used here for some purpose unknown to them (whether exhibiting their wedding dress in the wedding forum, or whether making fun of their pimples in the images forum), is pretty unfair. And if those posts and pictues don’t get edited, that is even more unfair.
And may I add, that I don’t know if the OP was joking or not, but it seemed like they were serious. Why wasn’t anyone taking it seriously? Even the mods and admin were joking around? Maybe I missed something, but are you sure that’s the image you want to put out about your “team”?
