Just like we allow majors like youtube, there might come a time when we will allow references to some major image holders, but for now, please bear the pain to immortalize your posts.

Can you make it possible to upload images on GS directly from another webpage (skipping the process of downloading the file to HD)?

yea i suppose in thery URL upload will work. Many image hosting sites use that feature. An example will be Imageshack.us
