…Coat…

I bought this Czechoslovakian Red Army trench coat for just 60 bucks from a friend in school…Today this coat is worth about 600 if you can find one, even on Ebay…

It’s pure wool and the warmest of warm…In winter this coat served as my blanket when I took naps in school and my prayer mat when I had to pray anywhere and it’s still the way I bought it…

I have had so many compliments on this coat that I hardly wear anything else during winter…Not to mention that it’s my most comfortable coat…

After the fall of the USSR, these Balkan countries became poor, as a result an underground market of Red Army memorabilia became available on the black market…This friend of mine dealt in this market…

It even has the initials of the soldier that this coat belonged to at the back of the neck…

It had red lapels on the shoulders and the collar, but I had my mother take them off as they looked cheesy…

The company that made this coat…

And front…See those pocket flaps? That’s what they are, just flaps…There is no damn pocket on the outside because soldiers aren’t allowed to walk with hands in their pockets…
