I am still at square one - the newly downloaded FA also gives the same set of problems - and the audio players that who-me told about dont work - atleast for me they dont
Now all these ppl here will start yelling out loud at me I know

actually coz phajja bhai mojooda soorat-e-haal kuch yun hay ke FA is working but i cant play the downloaded files…and i wanna download some of the audio gal sound files n store them na which doesn’t happen with FA

for FA phajja bhai, uninstall FA, then clear all temp files cookies etc etc, restart computer, then go to the FA website, and download FA…it should work then inshallah :k:
sometimes, but only SOME times, it might still give u that stopped thingie, toh us le liye u just have to clean temp files, cookies waghera again and it starts working again…
btw which windows r u using? i have win2000. some ppl with win98 have posted in this thread, they are having some additional problems as well, toh ye thread bhee dubara parh lein…
as for the audio players for the downloaded files…un ke baaray mein i myself dont know…

I don't see an option for ms jvm when i go to recomended
updates. :(
I do have freedom audio installed but it shows 832 kb.
I have installed audicity and Ashampoo but
how do i open a file thru them?
With my windows media player it opens up and
says connecting, then ready but then i get another little
pop up saying "data is invalid".

i dont know which software to use to play the downloaded files. i have win2000 and realplayer, winampl, win media player (all latest versions) ...none of them are able to open the files...i even installed the windows service pack thingie and all the updates..

FA works completely fine for me, Question bhai's solution in one of the above posts really works for FA.
the problem is only w/ the downloaded files... (the ones we download when we click on the floppy disc icon next to the speaker icons in the posts)... I can't open those..
