Whats the status on Can hear but can't record issue. Is it only giving problems with XP & I.E 6.0?
Well, you have to have the latest version of MS VM. Goto windows update for that. Secondly, the installer is a bit buggy. The package installs as "Damaged" sometimes. The status should be "Installed" for recorder to work. Try re installing it.

As I have said before, its working for most people which means its working fine. MS and java dont mix very well anymore so the problem could be anything, try it at school or at a friend's computer and see it working. You seem to know enough to troubleshoot yourself. Troubleshooting individual cases over GS is just too time consuming.

i have not been able to record or listen...
the gs window pops up..
and then i get another pop up telling me i need to update
freedom audio and when i download it...and close it....
it still does not play. It keeps popping the same window telling me to update.
HELP!!!!
I do have a firewall installed.
What do i do?
After I click 'yes' on the secuirity dialogue. Another window pops up
with the word "close". It won't install anyting.
