Guys I wanted to know some of the post wedding rasam riwaaj/what is expected of the new bride.
E.g. Is there a rasam where the new bride is supposed to cook for the family? Something meetha I think.
Plus any similar rasams?

another rasam is that the new bride reads a couple pages of quran and then gives some small amount of money in sadka. this is right after entering the new home.

Yes, the dulhan cooks kheer usually that traditionally signals that she will begin housework now. There is also in some families deaseera ki rasm usually in bihari families where the new bride and groom go stay at the girl’s parents’ house for a few days. It used to be ten days but now its not a hard and fast rule.

My Nani told me that the girl makes kheer once her mehndi wears off completely. So, my plan was to keep reapplying mehndi after the wedding

one of the most important rewaj is suhaag raat and hte next mom when motherinlaw comes to check the sheets and display them to the whole family.
