So who has started working out again? how can you motivate yourself to go back? Most of all are you eating healthy by leaving all the rooh afza, somasa’s and pakora’s behind?
I went back to the gym last thursday and found myself struggling to get through. Since then I have been doing low impact workouts like yoga, pilates, walking etc.
My stamina is not like it used to be 4-5 weeks ago.
Today is my first big day back…taking my high intensity class. Hope I can keep up!
So will it get better…will I be back to normal? : (
So what are your plans to get back into your post ramadan workout and diet? Have you guys started? are you struggling like I am?
I never let go of my treadmill routine even during Ramazan. I guess it is not a good practice to stop your workout routine altogether during Ramazan . Some part of it should be performed , may be by giving breaks in between or doing some light stuff.
Ate like 3 samosas all Ramadan so stayed far, far away from normal-course Iftaar.
I have gone back to body-building program after the month was over and felt like I had lost the strength to pick up basic weights. It will be like this for a week or two and then we will all pick back up where we left. It is beginning to taper off. :-)
