Post pregnancy belly belt

Hi all

I hope everyone is okay…

So have anybod u used this belt after pregnancy?? If so, what were ur thoughts? Did it work? My aunts are always telling me to get one as they believe that it will help flatten my stomach quickly.

If any of u have used it, where did u get it from if u are in the uk??

i was wondering the same thing… a lot of the ladies on the BabyCenter message boards swear by them, even after C-sections. Apparently some hospitals in the US give belts to new mum’s right after birth. They say after a C, it helps you move easier and sit up, etc for nursing with less pain because its holding everthing firmly but I thought your stitches needed to air? I got the belt by Medela and I never had a c-section. I wore it for a few months. If I were you, I would invest in a good quality corset instead, not the ones you get at lingerie stores but proper boutiques that specialize in corsets for back and tummy support. Works the same way and is actually stronger. The problem I found with the belt is that it would eventually lose its elasticity.
