I dont know how to response to that. Like i said before zira, dhunya, lal mirch, garam masala etc are in the spice cabinet well hidden. the 2 ' mitti-ke-handi's' I have that i use for daal and such are in the pots cabinet. my french fries maker/ slicer i got from islamabad juma bazar ages ago is in there some where too along with my ' tawa' and 'baylun'. Guess all my things have a place inside the cabinets or pantry.

I know! I know! and I followed that commandment religiously for a long time too. but after gaining 20 lbs in 2 years I had to get my act together.

Mrs Weasel, in order for us to believe you, you must place those afore mentioned desi kitchen items on the counter top and then take another picture and post. CE will then have to formally rescind these libellious allegations. Until u post a new pic, u can't prove anything ;)
We have nothing desi in our kitchen , that does not mean that we do not have a kitchen and cook our stuff in our backyard or garage. Speaking of garage , one friend of mine have setup a gas range in their garage to save the home smelling like salan. Her wife uses that mini kitchen for all her cooking.
it is sad that* i feel the need to prove *to you all that my kitchen is as desi as anyone elses. dont know what that says about me. but as i have no time to make chicken biryani due to in the middle of getting ready to leave for vacation and too many things to do. i did take pix of my handi, balun and masalas. ***say you believe ***
