unfortunetly i was thopped with loads of crappy makeup (eventhough i told her i want it to be NATURAL) she kept saying yes yes it’ll be exactly like that. and refused to let me see it while she was doing it (said i’d love it when i see the end result)

i ended up NOT recognizing myself and thought i looked like a jamadaarni (to which she got offended and said i was insulting her work) i didn’t think the foundation matched my skin tone at all but hey, according to her she was the makeup artiste and she knew it better. wicked cow

khair it’s ok, it was last minute thing anyways..and hopefully (insh’Allah) for the shadi i won’t look so horrendous else i will refuse to come out

She is probably used to being praised for her work, she is “professional” after all. Maybe u should take Mehnaz’s example and take your own foundation and allow her to do the rest, a good compromise.

My sister took her own make-up for the wedding in Paks, on the valima day a make-up artist did her make up, my sister told her to use the foundation she brought from england, unfortunately the professional CAKED it on and it looked awful. She also caked on a mountain of other make-up and the end result was BAAAAD. When we got there she looked so unlike herself. So we took her inside and gave her a make-over which looked much better. There were a lot of comments from a lot of the guests, saying that she looked better without so much make-up on. Maybe we started a new trend...

yea i told her it better be something that stays on and doesn’t melt away. and told her my skin is dry but ends up being super oily with make up n stuff on she said she knows she knows n her makeup won’t wear off for some hours… comes time for the pics and i go from looking liek a jamadaarni to a full blown churail.

One of my favorite brides: She looks naturally beautiful.

I actually don’t like her makeup. The lip liner is drawn on her. Its almost like she’ll forget where her lips are if they’re not mapped out on her face.
Although I do like the dress.

Can anyone change the header for me to read "NATURAL" instead of "DARK"???

"NATURAL" can be used in both on Dark/light skin people, anyone with dark shade skine with the skin-tone shade and light skin with their skin-tone foundation can look "NATURAL"
I don't understand why anyone with darker shade of skin would want to look white, when they get the foundation lighter they kinda look like a ghost.

You're right. I'm not a fan of the liner, but the overall look is nice and natural.
