What do you think the world will be like Post COVID 19 ?
LP! Hope you're doing well..Very good question!. I think i see lots of economic instability all around the world. May Allah protect all of us. And benefit that i see is..that hopefully people learn about the value of a relationships. And not take any relationship for granted.
And care about other people. Ya're not gona believe it LP.. that people here stockpiled Flour, Milk and other products so much to the point they have been caught selling them online and to their relatives. There is absolutely no shortage of food here but people really need to stop this madness.
Alhumdulillah!
aameen
Who do you think the economic instability will hit the most?
How long do you think people will value relationships? If they’re actually hoarding and selling to their relatives it shows they don’t value relationships.
Will people hold on to the money they have and spend frugally?
What about health? How do you think the health dynamics will be different post COVID 19?
haha..LP..ya're on the roll. Well..about economic uncertainty and instability will of course hit middle class for sure. Canada for example have..about close to 2 million people applied for EI or Employment Insurance and most of them are middle class people.
Yes..we have one of the best social care system in the world..but for how long Govt. will be able to support Canadians who are struggling. With that said..ya're debt are not forgiven so ya still have to pay your debts and take more loans from the Bank?. Alhamdulli'lah i work in Essential industry..so it hasn't effected me but i can't help enough thinking about families who are going through hardship in my community..
I have gone through..very very tough time in life..so i see the pain..
@Valuing Relationship: Here is people's attitude in general..that we would rather die with egos than just get along and learn to accept other people. Abhi tu i just mentioned egos. Let alone trampling of rights of other people..which includes..hoarding on food and other essentials..and not leaving out for your community and the most vulnerable in the society. So yes..this not a community spirit to hoard or stockpile.
So on a positive note!..hopefully Insha'Allah we all learn..with myself included first and foremost..
@ Health..Honestly LP..i used to take health for granted. But after corona and all..it has taught me to take care of myself health wise and people around me. With Insha'Allah Covid 19 passing by..this should be lesson for all of us as human beings to know our creator more and live the true meaning of this Life so we can rewarded in here-after. This is my belief. We all may have done terrible things in the life..but know that we are all weak human beings so we should make ourselves to be better human.

**Post Pandemic…Life will Go ON! Insha Allah!
The World has seen Worse!..Like Japan Lost two whole Cities (instant death for 200,000) to Nuclear Bombs! far worse than any Natural Disaster!
Maybe this Virus stopped that from Happening between India and Pakistan,Now we have Modi praising Islam as a Religion of Peace! where only a Month ago His RSS denied Citizenship for Muslims and wanted the Muslims of India to GO where Sharia Law was!
He Locked Down Kashmir for more than 150 days!..:hinna:
Now we have ALL INDIA and the World LOCKED DOWN!..![]()

Eventually, everything will go back to normal.
Honestly it feels like a dream right now. a world out of this pandemic. I dont know how it would be like. Its not an easy guess
Things are going to be catastrophic in many poor countries and there will be travel bans for a long time, people will
value relationships more
I'm an eternal pessimist so I'll say things won't go back to 'normal' and world as we know it will change drastically. I wonder what else this decade has in store for us, it's best to always be prepared.
It would be nice if people would suddenly value relationships more but I doubt it, those who wany to value them don't need a disaster in order to do so.
agreed. I am a forever optimist. But, I do believe people who never believed in relationships will forever be the same. This changes nothing for them.
But, for those that do value nothing but family, this will be a huge test (how to deal with being apart)
This is what I mean by things going back to normal
Businesses will open.
people stuck inside right now will get out and start going to school, work, malls, movies, restaurants etc (again the more privileged ones)
People who may have started to value relationships more, will go back to their old ways of not valuing them. Everything and everyone will just get back to their usual old selves. I am a big time optimist myself, but the human nature is to take things for granted once we have them (back in this case), therefore, I really don't think, relationships that need improvement will be affected for the better on the long run.
The pandemic will act as a catalyst to the already deteriorating situation of our society. Poorer societies, and within them, poorer segments will deteriorate even faster. I had some experience with construction workers, masons, plumbers, carpenters, etc. in the past couple of years and each year I witness further moral degradation across the board in the lower segment of the society. That sounds mean and elitist, and even I didn’t used to buy that when I was merely told about that, but experience convinced me otherwise.
I got a kitchen and bathroom remodeled, and the level of threatening behaviour, lies and broken promises I faced was unprecedented. I entered into written contracts but realized they had little bearing. The lower segment workers only want money with as little work as possible. They cared a lot about their small expenses but wasted lots of expensive material that was purchased by me. Same with time, they do not want to wait for 15 minutes so would keep me waiting the whole day promising they will come in an hour all the while. Unlike the previous generation of this workforce, the new generation is less interested in hardwork and more interested in the latest mobile phones and fashion. They work well only when the person paying them is more morally twisted than them. So many stories I hear every now and then of people with getting ripped off by poorer segment of society.
In order to counter such moral degradation, the class that is slightly better off will have to further take measures to protect themselves with twisted thinking and the vicious cycle will continue.
What nonsense calling a fellow human lower segment, you never seem to disappoint with classy behaviour, I am sure there are many people who are wealthier than us and how would we feel if people referred to us as lower class, I have experienced with cheap people who want free work done and don’t respect the labor and hard work
I think soon the world will be a messy place with so much issues like hunger, weak economies, no food
a lot of people wont be able to survive
if not by corona, they will die of hunger
