Just a few thoughts after reading your posts:
1) So this situations is not permanent right? You wrote that you and your husband are saving for a house.....have you two discussed a "time frame" as to when you can start looking for a housed? In 1 year? 2 years? Longer?
2) As for you MIL showing you her "ways"....that's normal. I know I have my "own ways" around my house/kitchen and get annoyed if anyone (even my fiance!) does things "differently". I know its hard....but be patient. Especially since this living situation is not permanent.
3) How far away did you move after marriage? Different city? Different country? I understand you wanting to hang out with you SILs....but if they don't show interest....so what? Do you not have friends of your own who you can hang out with...go shopping etc? If you haven't made any new friends in your area....then I'd encourage you to meet women on your own who you can spend time with....build your own emotional support network.
4) The part about you having to cancel your weekend plans b/c the in-laws agreed to davaats without asking you....OR your SIL calling you fat or putting you down in other ways..........have you spoken to your husband about these concerns? If so then what was his reaction? If not....then why not?
