hey guys,
i’m getting married in nov dis year .. i’v to prepare al da dreses dat i’l b wearing after my wedding.. i need sum ideas for dem..can u plz help me..some embroiderd frock, n ol dats inn fashion..

You mean dress that u will take with urself as a jehaz.
I think 3-4 kam wale, some fancy and embriordry( both hand and machine) , saree(again simple or kaam wali),
Stuff should be krinkle shiffon, and colour should bright and dull both. mean some r in red tones, yellows tones like bright but some could light. depend on ur choice.

some dress must be warm mean for winter wear.
i think that’s all. next wait for other suggestion.

6 7 heavy kaam walay specially if u have any family weddings or events cumin up ul be expected to be dolled up as ur a new bride:d
get some deep colours and pastels so u can mix it up according to the occasion and 8 ten semi formals , lighter kaam or just a mix of fabric. i did one of white plechi( patterned cut velvet) with 2 banarsi as borders .... it was rich purple with gold n broze n the second was light blue with silver . LOOked gorgeous. If u add some embroidery etc will be more dulhan-ish.

I guess they are saying length is becomin shorter (though women seem to be resisting in FULL) SO MAKE Medium length not floor length .

I would suggest getting sum blox pleat in two three layers of kapra and colours pastel .could be fab ! lol im imagining so much stuff ryt now , dont know if im putting it all down here v well.

Whatever style or design you like but more than embroidered dresses semi formal dresses proved to be more useful for me. It depends if you have to attend lots of family dinners later then do make 7-8 embroidered dresses. As for semi formals make them as many as you can afford lol P.S. make them a bit loose, the semi formal ones so that you can wear them in pregnancy :P( my personal experience)

and ashdame option of semi formal also a good one thanx.

i think must hv the hand embroidery dress if u can access a good one. as my cousin's father was going to multan. and they bought one or two every month which one he likes most.
and my cousin wear only 3-4 right after marriage. and remaning dress she sew whenever she needs. she finished her dress in 5 years. caz her point of view that this type of fashion never dies. bas kaam acha ho and u can wear in any era.

I have made a list to how many cloths i might be getting so ill post it here its kinda alot but im obsessed with paki cloths:wub: when i first made the list all in all it was around 70 cloths and my mum had a go at me like crazy lol now she halfed the amount…poor me:(

I think it really for difficult the best dresses for marriage. the story don't close only dresses but also make upe and all other accessories r imp.

You can always buy sarees at utsavsarees.com they are amazing..have bought all my shaadi sarees from there and loved them all..they have great prices too! you can get prettty much heavy saree below 100$!!
