Seems like we have an abundance of clip contributions posted by various members, in lieu of which I personally would love to see a separate child sub-forum labeled similar to the title of this thread (or perhaps a more fashionable “GS Cricket Videos Library” will do as well). This thread will maximize to all new heights in a day or two, and from the looks of it, it is becoming increasingly difficult to place all the links in one place, and constantly having the necessity to organize and re-shuffle it everytime a new one is added to the collection list.
I have suggested this idea (and one more to go alongwith it) to Khan Jee (of having a separate sub-forum). It would be extremely efficient to organize it separately (by year, title, subject) rather than having to scroll endlessly in this thread to find a particular clip. Would you (the members) be interested in this prospect?

^ I can spare some time to help in sorting or re-shuffle so it becomes easier to find the clip one is interested in.

Give me some time, a day or two and I will organize everything.
Dhobi bhai has give me suggestion to edit the post of link from a guppy, once I move it to post 2, 3 or 4. I thought of doing it in the start but than I thught that I may offend some one. But if every one agree, than I can remove all the links starting from post # 5.
It is obvious that we have zillions of videos sitting online and organizing them in one thread is a tough task.
Lets take it slowly. We can have plenty of options. In this thread instead of having 3 posts, we can have more posts and each post can be reserved for one cricket team, for eg post 3 will only have links related to Pakistan, post 4 only will be indian links. If even that become too crowded than we can have post 3 for Pakistani viewable links and 4 for downloadble and so on.

I do believe, Khan Jee, that with all the incoming videos that we will be posting in the next couple of days, this thread will become way too much over-crowded and rather populated with links all over the place. Granted that efforts will be under-taken in order to organize them in the best fashion possible, if we rather start out early and create a separate child sub-forum under Cricketnama, the biggest source of pain and stress that it will help to eradicate is the lack of scrolling (which, in this thread, will be cubersome over the next few days).
I suppose I might be pushing too hard for us to have a nice place to look for cricket videos, but ultimately, in the long run, it will be for the better. The child sub-forum has the potential to act as a placeholder, for not only the current clips of on-going series (in separate threads, of couse), but also for the past series, alongwith the huge volume of links that are viewable online and downloadable at the same time (organized by year, subject, title e.t.c.). The piece you mentioned in your post regarding the sort of organization where all country clips are put together in one place, that separate forum will allow us to accomplish just that in a more valuable and graceful manner. Once again, the sufferings in the eyes will vastly diminish by having to vertically scroll a lot less than the current situation we are experiencing, and all in all, in the long-run, it will serve for the better.
However, as you suggested, we can wait for a few more days and re-think about this achievable goal, which will successfully win us a distance in the future. :)

Dhobi bhai I agree with everything you said and to be honest, you and I are thinking on the same lines. The idea is to make it more and more convenient for users to find the desirable link in the library, not to confuse them:D
I would also like to have a sub forum where an entire thread or even 2 threads can be dedicated to one single team.
It is something not done here before and I am sure we all knew or atleast expected that it won't be a smooth ride.
Anyway, I will let you all know shortly about our plans for the cricket library.

I have suggestions, since this is a cricket library, for that reason soley if mods can move the "Live/current series link" to the other threads that will give some room to breathe, and the idea put forth by fKhan bhai that links be in alphabetical order, I am not in much of a favor of that idea as this will need atleast 8 threads considering the test playing nations only, and with interest to GS; 4 comes to mind minimum and then there will be interesting clips/ funny cricket stuff...etc.
the cricket libaray is crowded as we all are posting the links there and praising the efforts put forth.
here are the ideas IMO:
1) All guppies can post the links in a thread (new thread) dedicated to that purpose only, and guppies can post the links of matches, past, present...etc.
2) Mods can only update (from that thread/other sources) the cricket library soley.(Restricted/limited access) (this will save the Juma-bazzar we have currently there).
3) later when organized it can further be categorized by; (Match: Pak vs India 3rd ODI 06..etc, highest score in a ODI...etc, Best bowling....etc and Misc links...)

Khan jee open one thread for videos only and keep it locked. Transfer all the videos to it. It should be read only thread. Comments and new videos can be posted in this thread and you can transfer the video links to the locked thread.

I think for the time being this is a good idea which Ehsan bhai has suggested.
I will open a new thread and this thread will be for posting links and suggestions only.
However I would be opening this new thread later in the evening (probably after 3-4 hours) since I am at work right now. In the mean time if anyone has an idea for the new thread, feel free to post it.
