whatever, 3/4 of the media industry relies on macs for their work. 
plus these are the 24 inch iMacs… 
not for girls for people who want to have hardcore power!!!
plus i will be posting my home computer’s desktop too when i go home…
macs are for creative people, guess you are not one

mac’s are expensive i tell u that much
and take the gaming factor for example 
i mean its good for girls since girls dont play that many games etc
but windows has games lots of sortware etc
mac are easy to use but way way expensive. u can get alot faster windows machine for the same price as a mac that’s half as powerful just my opinion , i dont have anything against macs but what i think is that they dont give much bang for the buck

I play games, girls play games. That is just plain old stereotypical thinking that girls do not play games or that many games. There are many hardcore girl gamers out there too, including myself. THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT MACS DO THAT WINDOWS CANNOT. FOR INSTANCE THE AVAILABILITY OF THE FINAL CUT STUDIO PRO AND SOUNTRACK PRO SOFTWARE that I used in order to edit my movies. Plus the Microsoft Office suite rox on MAC, on windows it is boring. There is a lot of software that runs better on MAC. PLUS there is the option of running both windows and MAC OSX on MAC machines now with BOOT CAMP so in this way MACS are better.
Macs have better and bigger screens. Mac keyboards and monitors rock. MAC consists of CPU and Monitor 2-1.
Agreed it is expensive but it does so much more than a pc and it comes with so much more options for media related softwares and applications. We have 30 24inch macs btw in our media lab, I am using two simultaneously right now. They are side by side.

i would have to disagree about much games and software available on mac, if u compare how many games are availabe in windows compared to mac that would be like 1:100
window's is PC games platform very very few games get ported for mac. while u talk about software for editing sounds and movies (i m not into that much) but i can guarantee u there MUST be an alternative for windows. not one but many.
ahem ahem if u didnt notice 2 monitors isnt a big deal for any computer that's the grafix card's job lolz. u can attach 4 monitors if u grafix card supports it :D
and monitors have nothing to do with the OS(operatiing system) which we are discussing here. i mean a friend of mine has an HDTV hooked up to his pc (windows)
so monitors dont matter
the main negative points for mac in my opinion are the lack of games, alternative software(i mean u have the original editing software and stuff but in windows u get a whole lot more than that, i.e third party softwares)
and talking about running windows on mac using bootcamp would be pointless since u can buy a much powerful machine for the price of a mac
if u wanna run windows y buy a mac in the first place
if u can run both mac and windows together(i dunno if u can) that it'd be good
but i still prefer regular old windows machine :p

i mean girls play games but there are not a lot of them and u know it too.

you are just taking it from the point of view of if mac can handle games. agreed it cannot. not many games available for mac as well… however mac is a very professional machine and people do not buy it for games… there is a niche market for mac machines.. professional use it especially the media related industry professionals! 
for you of course windows will be best because you are not going to edit something or compose a piece of music or anything… you want to play games and windows does it better no doubt…
i love to play need for speed undercover on my gaming pc at home

yeah i guess it depends which is good for who
u r right though most people do professional stuff on macs like photoshopping, video editing etc. alot of home users who dont do gaming also use macs.
it just depends on the individual though.
