Please recommend good brand. where can I get it here in USA? is to be wear right after the delivery or wait few days after the baby is born? Thank you.

My doctor/hospital provided me with a good one right after my delivery that I even wore in the hospital....but it's because I had a c-section so I needed it for support. If you need another go to Babies R Us, they have several post-partum belly bands, just get the one that suits you.

you can start wearing it right after the delivery. i got mine from babiesrus too but i can't remember the brand. you can find them online and probably for less too.

u can wear those silhouette underwears too... tahts what i wore post delivery.

I purchased the Medela one. It was damn expensive, but worth it. I wore it for nearly 3 months. It adjusts to two sizes as you lose weight.

my friend swore by the bella band - she was wearing her regular jeans with this to hold them up until almost the end http://www.ingridandisa

i think this works for pre- and post- delivery.

I used the 1st one. You can try both and just keep the one that suits you.

The Bella Band is especially useful during pregnancy to hold up your loose maternity pants or to wear your regular pants unbuttoned. However if the belt is needed for post delivery support of tummy/abdominal muscles...I would recommend the 2 that Same posted or the Medela one.

For me? yeah. Like I said I had a c-section & I had to wear it. I had some loose skin & with an open wound it hurt like hell after the drugs wore off. It helped hold my tummy in place, minimal movement, minimized pain...PLUS provided support for when I had to cough/sneeze after the c-section. Also it helped just support the saggy tummy in general.
