i dnt think he is budha he is just over weight- one of my mate is 25 but as he is quite chubby he looks 30+
so i dnt think thts the case

i don't think this kid is his own, the baby looks really young hardy a month old, and i don't think he will be getting married again, with a month old baby, i mean peopel re-married if their wife die or divorce, but they re-married after few months. so i really don't think it's his own baby

what’s with the arm band thingy? i’ve seen so many brides wearing it in the pics that have been posted. any reason for it, or is it just another fashion accessory?

I think its supposed to be an imam zamin.

Basically, its an Iranian custom thats also observed in places that were influenced by Iranian culture (like Lucknow and Murshidabad). An imam zamin is a small pouch that you put some money in and tie around your arm before you go on a journey...and when you get to your destination, you take the money out and donate it to the poor. The idea kinda is that if you wear it, Imam Raza (as) will bless you on your journey. And so in places like Lucknow, it became traditional to send fancy embroidered imam zamins to the bride and groom to wear at the shaadi. Now I think its just a fashion statement for a lot of people...I honestly doubt that most people who wear them at their weddings even know what its supposed to be.
