this FAN is actually called the 'turrah' of the kullah(turban)..it is a pat of the classic kullah the grooms wear.

well it looks a bit silly to me :p
as for your pics, teelobhain, her outfit is nice! its appropriate for an engagement- how much more heavy should it be? and her whole look is pretty lovely for the occassion too. it doesn't look tarik-road-y to me. in fact, it shows refined taste instead of some over the top crap- i'm interested to see how her wedding outfit looks.
the makeup is a bit off though- her cheeks look bruised with all that bronzer on.

Yea good for engagement but this was her nikah; i will post her wedding i.e. mehndi, shaadi and valima pictures when i get them. I dont like fully kaam walay kapray heavy work and all but at least these clothes could have been better even if the same amount of embroidery would have had multi color combinations and the out fit to could use a little multi color touch other wise it looks dull and very uniform type-ish. i have a few clothes with little work on them but the designes are so nice that people especially come to me and ask me where i got it done from and the work is like 2 years old so just think how much more better her outfit could have been since this is a bridal wear - anyway whats done is done, well i like this makeup on her since she always puts maroonish lipstick and light sa pink blush with light pink and silvery eye shade so this is kind of a good change.
