omg, i think too much makeup just makes you look strange. better to be simple and clean rather than wear tonnes of make up. Although they all look stunning, but too much just makes you look fake!! :s

i agree less is better, it may look good in pictures, but after a while you start to get cracks, like when u smile around ur mouth.
and those before and after pics, the before probably has bad lighting, whereas the after might have good fake lighting and a flash to make you look lighter with a better camra.

yes, true. Too much make up destroys the outer layer of the skin, which in the longer run makes you look aged. Also, make up contains various chemicals which we are unaware of as customers, but those who manufacture these products or who are doctors such as me, know the horrible consequences of those chemicals.
I don't know if someone can tell me, but I heard that in Pakistan there has been a phase, or probably still is, where people were mixing few creams together with the aim of lightening their complexion! Is that true? I am sure make up artists must use that in Pakistan because every bride you see looks like 'Casper'! No offense, but that is true! :(

^ Thats true, but they usually put it on their face every night for a long time and it works. i know because one of my cousins used it who was pretty dark to start with, you look at her now and its a total transformation. she had light hands/feet to start with. However i've heard the mixture is very dangerous for the skin.
Make-up atists just use lighter shade of foundation with lots of layers i guess.

This is insane..omg..some of these pics look so unreal..
I know a few of my friends personally know bollywood celebs like bipasha, ash and others..and told me that in person they look completely different...not surprised but they emphasized the fact that they wear a lot of makeup on their faces and body makeup too...
I dont know if wearing that much makeup is suitable..I mean one should look a little closer to themselves on the biggest day of their lives (i.e. wedding!).

i think bollywood actresses look close to their selves on their actual wedding day. none of the bollywood actress looked as pretty in their own wedding as they did in the movie

I think it is a bleach mixed with a creams so it gives a lightning effect, ofcuose it not good for the skin if used in long term.

no i dont use them ,one of my cousin used to use fair and lovely wen she was younger and i havent noticed anything wrong wid her skin, but next time i see her il be lookin closely.
