I remember buying my husband a HandSpring PDA in 2000/2001 on his birthday. Then he sold it and got a Toshiba pocket PC with Windows Mobile. We had a GPS unit for that. Then he got a BlackBerry Curve, I got a Motorola Razr. It would greet me by saying Hello Moto 
. Then I got my first smartphone, a G1.

Yes, absolutely. My new assistant calls me “chulbuli nazneen” on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and “oh u mighty fit one” on the other days 
. Jokes aside, but yes, look how things have progressed. We can program our phones to call us whatever we want.

We do opera mobile browsing with all the essentials ready to roll, i.e. kijiji, gs, gmail, youtube, fb, hotmail, google news, salat times, td bank
We do live google maps, uses data connection / gps
We do weather and forecast
We have some battle scars as we’ve been tossed around a bit

How do you like your windows phone?
It's ok, pretty fast actually. The only issue is the limited range of Apps, ie there are loads of Apps for iOS and Android, that you will not get for WP7.

My very first mobile phone was an Ericsson phone (not Sony Ericcson, that Joint Venture was created later on). It was heavy as a brick. :)

Ahh yea, I’ve heard about that from other people too. Although more apps are bound to come with time.
