Possible if Pakistan becomes the next Iraq?

Re: Possible if Pakistan becomes the next Iraq?

^ israel provides a very good hostage to bargain against any possible attack from the US.

i dont like the way the US has been entering pakistani airspace with fighter jets and firing at soldiers at checkpoints recently. pakistan is no doubt helping as much as it can, the blame is being thrown onto pakistan to hide the total faillure of the NATO/US operation in afghanistan. pakistan has over a thausand checkpoints along the border where as the afghans/nato dont even muster 100. this is actually the fault of nato countries for failling to contribute sufficient troop numbers to afghanistan or organise locals to man checkpoints. also the fact that united states hasnt actually destroyed alq is their own incompetence or a more sinister ploy to remain in the region. the way they are behaving who can rule out sinister ploys in their objectives in afghanistan.

i suggest for the US to stop harrassing pakistan, and use some of the intelligence sharing channels we have provided more.
to treat pakistan with EQUAL respect.
to take responsibilty for faillures of the afghan mission.
to engage the afghan public in a way to stop the spread of terrorism, anti western peoples movement.

Re: Possible if Pakistan becomes the next Iraq?

Taking on Israel, India and US, alongside denying Pak Army operations that are openly discussed by the Army itself…i realise you likely to be a teenager who think’s he know’s everything, but you seriously need a major reality check

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Pakistan’s **soldiers backed by attack helicopters **destroyed three suspected al-Qaida hideouts near the Afghan border on Tuesday and killed a number of the militants, who included foreigners, an army spokesman said.

The US Secretary of State Colin Powell says Washington will elevate its military ties with Pakistan, making it a major ally outside of Nato.

He was talking in Islamabad ahead of talks with President Pervez Musharraf.
His visit coincides with renewed military action by Pakistan’s army against al-Qaeda and Taleban suspects and their supporters. Troops and helicopter gun ships backed by fighter jets have been taking part in the operation.

Officials say helicopter gun ships were assisting the ground forces on Thursday in clashes near the town of Wana, in which heavy arms were being used by both sides. Fighter jets have also been seen in the area. Residents near the battle said they could hear artillery being fired by the government side and see columns of smoke snaking into the sky.

The security forces gave a three hour notice to local residents early on Thursday morning to vacate their houses before hundreds of paramilitary and army troops moved into the area to take on armed militants believed to be hiding in the mountainous area.
In a separate development in north Waziristan, the army says two of its soldiers were killed in a rocket attack in the remote Shawal area.

they were in disguise and wearing FC uniform

Re: Possible if Pakistan becomes the next Iraq?

So the FC is no longer considered a military institution?

I am amazed by the ignorance some people show!

It is funny you resort to cheap insults and try to show me as an inferior because of your frustration. Clearly, you have some issues and you need to take them off the forum. This is not a place for you to vent on people.

No one wants to do it, but I was just discussing our deterrent to an outright attack on Pakistani soil.
