How can you define possesiveness and how can you tell that the woman is possesive?
When does possesiveness go on to jealousness and hatred?

Um, when she goes OCD and wants to know every minute of the day where you are even if she's living like somewhere else and is engaged to you, and doesn't really need that info.
If she doesn't let you have facebook friends of the opposite gender.
If she asks you why you talk to girls on GS, and by that she means, why are you posting in threads where girls post.
If she drives your current female friends away to the point where they feel uncomfortable even saying hello to you anymore. As oppose to making friends with those girls and maintaining a cultural association with them.
If she goes through your emails checking to see who writes to you.
If she refuses you go anywhere without her.
If she stops you from hanging out with your male friends.
If she stops you from seeing your family.
Basically anything pathological.

Total possessiveness would be when the other half keeps tabs on you all the time, tell you to stay indoors and be so clingy you would not know be able to go to the bathroom alone!
A little bit of jealousy/possessiveness may be good but too much is not good.

If she refuses you to go anywhere without her…that is certainly a possesive woman.
When the man calls, she says, who were you on the phone with?
When she makes a scene when a male friend comes and visits him and stays for a while long in the evening.
When she says, I want to come someday just to see your work place…she is not interested in work place as one can guess. She wants to know what kind of girl he is working with…
