One can totally agree or disagree with IK and TuQ’s dharna series but among all the things there are some very positive outcomes:

Political awakening: Pakistani awam recalled that they have more choices than NS and PPP. PTI had already emerged as the third bigger option in elections but now it got a chance to explain many things and point out the shortcomings of the system.

People (re)identified their rights: Instead of sleeping on any kind of exploitation done by the elites, people know they have the rights and they can fight against status quo. I doubt if there’ll be any such incident when lady sharif got the poor bakery wala hit by her guards. No more abuse of power.

Gullu butt culture exposed: Events at lahore where gullu butt smashed cars and people died by police firing got so much exposure that it turned into a countrywide agitation. I’m sure any govt will think 100 times before going for any such act. Those who sacrificed their lives certainly gave an awakening to others even when their murderers are at large.

Corruption exposed: The seeds of corruption aint gona finish anytime soon but its been badly exposed. Especially the govt officials are very careful these days. Not that they’ll stop completely but atleast they know people are watching.

Rejection of VVIP culture: This culture had been engulfing over social equalities for so long and was a root cause of many evils. Pakistani awam realized its time to finish this culture and bury it. No protocols accepted for VIPs.
Now since masses know all above, everyone is under radar and even IK or TuQ exhibit any such thing they’ll be under fire as we can see after recent videos.
