Queen I have never heard of corpus luteum containing/secreting hcg. Yes it secretes progesterone and estrogen to facilitate pregnancy **but i have never heard of it producing hcg and giving false positives.

However, I also think her cousin has gone through a miscarriage because I mistook the blood test with HPT. Usually a Corpus Cyst is mistaken by a false positive in HPT.
