Is it an offence to view porn (or other erotic material: stories etc.) in the privacy of ones own home, on the Internet, DVD or Cable/Dish?
Is it an offence to have premartial sex (Zina) or homo sex (Livaatat) and what’s the punishment?
These are serious questions so I don’t want any jokes in my thread. Secondly I don’t want to know the Islamic, Saudi, Iranian, Hanafi, Jafari, Muqalid, Akhbari, Ghair-Muqalid or whatever laws on the matter or your personal views, I already know what scripture has to say because I use to be very much into religion/philosophy in the past.
All I’m interested in is what the current Pakistani law has to say about it.
You are grouping people from all these countries as a homogenous group. We are niether hindus, nor indians, nor irani, and sure as hell not saudi or arab. To paint the picture you paint and then to ask your question is not only offensive, it is a farce.
TLK you seem to have comprehension problems too, I know the age of consent laws in Britian/America and other civilised countries and I know the sad state of affairs in Pakistan but I'm not interested in all that jazz, I just want to know what Pakistani law has to say..
1) Logically speaking, if it were a crime, it would not be so readily available in Pakistan. I think it is just unethical and not a punishable crime.
2)Yes, zina should be an offense. I don't know if Pakistan practices strict shariah laws, but if there are 4 witnesses to a zina, people who see that happening, in by Islamic law it is stone to death, etc... However, like I said, I don't know if Pakistan law is Islamic law. Regarding homosexuality, I have heard of many well known figures who have openly admitted to being gay, so since they are not in jailing but roaming the streets of Pakistan freely, I guess there's no law against it.
The national criminal code of Pakistan punishes acts of Sodomy with a possible life sentence and has other provisons

Article 268 - A person is guilty of a public nuisance who does any act or is guilty of an illegal omission which causes any common injury, danger or annoyance to the public or to the people in general who dwell or occupy property in the vicinity, or which must necessarily cause injury, obstruction, danger or annoyance to persons who may have occasion to use any public right.
Article 269 - Whoever unlawfully or negligently does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine, or with both.
Article 270 - Whoever malignantly does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

Article 371B - When a female is sold, let for hire, or otherwise disposed of to a prostitute or to any person who keeps or manages a brothel, the person so disposing of such female shall, until the contrary is proved, be presumed to have disposed of her with the intent that she shall be used for the purpose of prostitution. For the purposes of this section and section 371B, "illicit intercourse" means sexual intercourse between persons not united by marriage.
Article 377 - Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which shall not be less than two years nor more than ten years, and shall also be liable to fine. Penetration is sufficient to constitute the carnal intercourse necessary to the offence described in this section.
Article 496 - Whoever, dishonestly or with a fraudulent intention, goes through the ceremony of being married, knowing that he is not thereby lawfully married, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall be liable to fine.
I am sure as Aliyish pointed out that is the current and standing law. So the case is closed, it's illegal. As to wether it's enforced or not is another matter and sure there are plenty who get away with it, but they do so illegally!.
I find it is as others have pointed out rather offensive, however i'm sure your questions have been answered. Besides it's not hard to find the relavant information on the internet so why bring up this can of worms in such a way? Waht was your intentions?
