well i have seen the trend of our actresses wearing sarees in dramas but i dun c the average women wear it except for the rare occassions.

^ Sari consists of a petticoat or a skirt to wear under, a blouse, and then the sari itself... Uhm if u gotta go...I guess be patient, undo everything, etc?

I dont know/care abt Indian influence, I think saris are awonderful... i love shalwar kameez, lengha, and other otufits too but there's something abt a sari that makes one feel beautiful and elegant....maybe its just the novelty of it since I, and many girls, only wear saris after they get married whereas shalwar kameez is smething since childhood...
Mrs. Saieen, just ignore the morons on GS who hate anything Indian just because it is Indian and go buy yourself a nice Kanijivaram. Will cost you aroung 5,000 rupees but then just learn to handle hazar compliments a day you will be getting. And please post us a pic.
