Popularity of saris soars in Pakistan thanks to Indian TV soaps.

Re: Popularity of saris soars in Pakistan thanks to Indian TV soaps.

I highly doubt that six yards of fabric will ever cause a person living in Pakistan to actually be “confused” or “confuzzled” about their identity  I know a sari comes from India and not Pakistan but I don’t care. Like a poster said above, they are still impractical for us but fun to wear.

Shararas and lenghas aren’t really going anywhere, those will always be the first choices for bride-to-bes. Whether she’s lounging around the house or scrubbing dishes or going shoppnig with friends or to a party, shalwar kameez will forever be a staple in our culture and our wardrobe. So just chill out, just because someone watches Bollywood and wears a sari once in a blue moon doesn’t mean anything :lifey:
