I would have thought the US and UN would have made sure this crop would be eradicated?. Instead, the production levels are now close to those of the late 1990s before the Taleban banned poppy cultivation entirely?
Why has the production soared?
atleast give that much credit to Taleban, they were able to control this poppy production.
