I’ve heard some of hte locations have shut down in TO due to some court order? That sucks :frowning:

yeah…three in our neighbourhood have shut down and caused major issues…for certain people in my family. :rolleyes:

I found a site that quotes a recipe…will try it and let you guys know if it works…though I can’t imagine anyone wanting to make this stuff at home.

some Muslims have gone to court over the issue whether machine-slaughtered chickens used by Popeye’s Fried Chicken qualify as Islamically Halaal as opposed to hand-slaughtered ones.

Mary Brown’s Chicken also uses machine slaughtered chickens in it’s stores.

The “halal” church’s here is still up and running…as are the 5 KFC’s…ab Allah behtar jaanay ke waaqi main zabiha hai ke nahin…the never ending debate…machine vs hand cut

I don’t want to…but when you see your child with tears in her eyes for a certain food…you do what you have to do.

I was in tears as well when Popeyes changed from hand cut to machine cut :teary1:
