Re: pope, a holy father?
You don't necessarily know what God is or what he's been part of. You know the literal translation of the Quran and its literal interpretations by others. While smug in your knowledge of God and His actions, your flippant dismissal of one's belief in the divinity of Christ is meaningless to a couple of billion of others who also feel they know what they are talking about.

^ bringing us back to the worship of a man-God
You'll probably find it's those who believe God became man that are the ones who've fallen headlong into literalism
Re: pope, a holy father?
Dear gupguppy,
Rather than argue.
How do you yourself view God?
What are your beliefs regarding God?
Have you ever questioned your beliefs?
If so, what in your beliefs answered your questions?
Why the need to discourage others beliefs?
In my thinking…
Belief and Trust in God weighs important over what is believed about God.
