My sister in law is having a. Party on Saturday .. Basically it’s arranged for her kids but .. Moms will be there too..
Haven’t decided anythinng yet n she was asking for ideas…
i was thinking of some cocktails with umbrella hats,
table with some towel buckets n sunscreen stuff
snack stand, decorate door with welcome message..
wtelse..Could we do? Time is short n we don’t wanna go v fancy…

Fruit kebabs would be fun/cute. Take pineapple/watermelon/grapes/strawberries and thread them on skewers
Tortilla Chips and Salsa go great with “mocktails”. To play along with the Mexican/Southwestern theme you can make a relish/salad of black beans, avocado & mango. String some chilli pepper shaped lights around too.
Keep the rest of the menu easy and no fuss for the kids..hot dogs and sliders/mini burgers. Maybe a pasta salad too.

You can also set out bottled water/drinks in those galvanized metal tubs filled with ice. Finger foods would be the best way to go. If you don’t want to do hot dogs/burgers than maybe chicken and shrimp skewers that can be quickly grilled? BBQ’ing usually goes hand and hand with pool parties, and it’s relatively easy to put together on short notice.
One of my favorite summer time appetizers is to take bococcini (those little mozzerella balls) and to put them on a toothpick with a cherry tomato and basil leaf..it’s like a bite sized caprese salad.

some ideas for decoration
decorate table with seashells and sea animals and card made boats
hang around beach balls
keep a sand tub with little buckets & shovels
keep flyer discs
have little pop up camps for kids
have water guns
seashell necklaces can be kept for girls as party favors.
for food
colorful cocktails or blue colada with little umbrellas
fruits on skewers
if you can, keep Naaryal Pani with colorful straws in your menu, it goes best with beach and pool parties.
some gol guppas
you can have small card made icecreams, stick that to a wooden stick and stick that to your mocktail glasses.
keep some vanila cupcakes with blue color frosting. and make fondant beach balls as a topper.
i have seen this at my nephew’s school poo party, they had taken cookies in biscuit color and had a blue colored frosting spread on those. that is so easy to make and looks cute.

i also decided a pool party for elders mean boys. My hubby and BIL AND MY BRO. ALL ready to jump. Also hv birthday of my hubby same day. So my MIL AND FIL and parents also there.
V hv decided to do bar-b-q as dinner and cake , coke would bf also in the list.
Party time would after 4 pm. Any suggestions plz.

And which medicine can be used to keep water clean and fresh for many days?

OP lives abroad (US I believe) where swimming pools are in ground with their own filtration, cleaning system and pumps that maintain the swimming pool year round. There are also specific chemicals used to maintain the chlorine balance. It would be very difficult to explain to how to keep it fresh for many days when clearly you have a totally different set up.

So wee r doing chicken bites, fruit skewers. Taco cups.. Chicken salad sandwiches. Some sweet stuff like ice pops .icecreamcones. Cake, n all n don’t have mich time for other stuff lol..
