I think Aussies behavior was flat out insulting! It didn't sound so bad when I read it in the news but watching the whole episode on tv makes you realize it was very ugly. I think its their (Aussies and English) overall attitude agaisnt us (Asians). It could have been Pak officials and they would have done the same thing . They should be taught a lesson of common courtesy and protocol sepcially when you are a guest in another country.
If I could translate the whole incident in urdu
Ponting: ehh buddhay idher la trophy aur yahan say dafa hoja (first using his hand asking Mr.Pawar to bring tropy to him instead of walking up to him and then pointing his finger to show him off the stage)
Pawar: turns around and hands over the trophy
Martyn: haan haan chal ab nikal patli gali say (tapping on his back, he might as well pushed him off the stage)
Poor Pawar walks off the stage as quickly as he could.
Perhaps one of the things we can do to earn respect is by kicking their ass on the field.
