when ever pomfret fish comes in our home our cook ruined it make very nasty masala and he knows only one masala i m sick of tired with his masala it tastes very so so with that masala ..i love pomfret fish..so yesterday i fought with him and ask him to change his spices and he said baji app bata de kia kia lagaoon kaise banao..main waise bandoongaa

and i dont know a bit about it so help tell me your best fish masala recipe asap

this is the fish i have eaten a lot in my first 16 yrs of life. i'm assuming you are going to fry it, and not make a salan. pomfret is a very tasty fish which doesn't need much masalay to enjoy. my fav way is to slice the fish into half inch sections, rub with a mix of a pinch of turmeric, a generous amount of red chilli powder, salt and lemon juice. let it sift for half an hour. fry, but not too long. eat with sliced onions.
