anyone here familiar with mumtaz mufti (no he is not a scholar just his name) and his life story.

they have sound reasons what if the same husband totally ignores you after marriage?pakistani society isnt up for women divorce and second marriage. in arab culture divorce is not an issue and second and third marriages are piece of cake.
i culd nt agree more but wat about all the women who does have strong believes n some times they lecture you for not believing enuff wuld go insane over polygamy if ur so about sunnah then also let ur husband marry again.personaly i firmly beleive its not possble for anyone to do justice even between two wifes but in some situation i guess its better if u let ur husband marry sharafat say rather then him keeping a mistress.

mufti is a writer in urdu adab, his father had two wives and mufti was a classic example of children in the rift. dude was bitter about it till the age of 60, his mother was treated hideously, she was the first wife.
i dont understand y some paki women go insane if someones talking about polygomy....is nt it better if husband gets nikahfied rather then having an affair or cheating.

i personally know alot of people who knew their father was cheating...specially boys.is nt it much more worse to know something that horrible about ur father then he being married twice?all im saying is atleast it wont be a sin anymore if he marries the other women
Technically women and men who have committed adultery together are supposed to be forbidden to marry each other (what i have been taught). Secondly as Muslims we are supposed to emulate the life of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh). The Prophet (puh) married again after a really long time and when he practised polgymay it wasnt fthe reasons men do today. He marred widows, older women, to ensure peace with certain tribes he married again. So really if a man is gonna cheat he is gonna do it anyway without gettn married again. Also assuming your friends fathers were muslim wy did they not get married again? the ans i because they would have had to provide for the women and give them islamic rights.
