The way PCOS can present is very variable and patients can be anywhere on a very wide spectrum.It is not necessary for all the signs and symptoms to be present in all patients.
From what I know PCOS does hinder fertility.Infact most of the times women come to know of PCOS when they have been unable to conceive for a while.
