Genealogy is an absolutely fascinating subject, as long you don't get to the wrong side of the things. One day in my life, I'll probably go for genealogical DNA testing. My sister - who is a spitting image of my mum and dad - is a natural blond, for goodness sake, lol (dirty blond - yes it's a proper term for specific of blond).

This, I have been planning to do one too for a couple of years and see where I come from from way back

i've never seen a natural blonde adult Pakistani; i used to have light brown/dark blond-esque hair when i was a toddler but then it darkened...

You have no idea what you are talking about. First you have to understand, not all press sources from India are unbiased. And Dr. Swami is definitely not a reliable one. So you can throw away that 200,000 number and your fake indignation. Second, Hyderabad is not kashmir. There are several differences, two most important ones are

1. kashmir was muslim-majority ruled by a hindu and hyderabad was hindu-majority ruled by muslims.
2. even by 1948, the hyderabadi culture was a fusion of regional, indian & persian. kashmir is more homogeneous ( and yes, very alien to indian )

Finally, hyderabadi culture is alive and well. Not just in hyderabad, but wherever hyderabadis live.

All those who consider themselves guardians of islam and wage these silly wars cultures must realize, states come and go, nations are won and lost, empires are built and destroyed, but the deen will remain. You can nitpick all you want about culture, ethnicity, caste etc. But until we look at each other as muslims, we will not be successful.

How about the Northern areas of Pak ?

It's pretty rare, you get the odd Northern Pakistani adult with dirty blonde hair but it's uncommon and you will almost never find those Scandinavian blonde types
