Med911 should call 911 because his 5 second google search on the Pakistan constitution shows his delusional attempt to call the secular constitution of Pakistan, Islamic.

1. the pak constitution does no deny the onesness of allah(swt) nor does it deny islam as a “religion” however it does not make the Quran and Sunnah as the source of legislation.

2.Over 250 articles in the pakistan constitution and not one is derived from Quran and sunnah (sources of islamic law).

3. A quick look at article 2 is clear evidence for anyone that cares to read it. Islam is viewed not as a divine source of legislation but merely as “the state religion of Pakistan”

This is no different than Greece or Denmark who have Christianity as their state religion is anyone calling Greece Christian or a secular country? everyone knows it is secular.

4.Article 31 mentions the State acts as a facilitator for its citizens to to practice islam in their personal capacity if they wish" Proving state is secular in its view on religion.

These few examples of the hundreds show the secular constitution of pakistan as it is, debunking the hollow claims of certain secularists on this issue.

For people who cannot be bothered to look at the constitution to study its source of legislation they can simply observe pakistan and its behavior.

a. Pakistan has a interest based economy (islam forbids interest)

b. Pakistan has military co-operation with countries which at war with muslim nations i.e United States Government (which shariah law allows this? none)

c. Drones attacks ( need i say anymore)

1. You dont know what sunnah is, you just use certain phrases and think you are being Islamic.. In reality, there is no single system that can be imposed on everyone.

2. Divine source of legislation vs state religion… A religion is by definition divinely ordained, hence any state professing to follow a “state religion” professes to the be following something divine. So your point is null. And Pakistan not only makes islam its state religion, it goes further by having all laws in line with Islamic precepts.

3. The state cant force people to follow any religion. That’s against Islam. If you were an actual Muslim and not an extremist, you would know that.

4. If you want to destroy our banking system and start from scratch then go right ahead. Pakistan has an interest based banking system because that is what it has always had and there is no practical replacement for it.

5. US is at war with terrorists and extremists. There is nothing more Islamic then fighting oppressors and criminals of any ilk. The Taliban are animals and they deserve to die, and any decent Muslim should support the war against them.

6. Drone attacks are a perfect way of killing terrorists.. Nothing unislamic about killing terrorists and criminals. I say we have more drones killing even more terrorists. An ideal situation would be for the Pakistan army to do it. But they wont, so let the Americans.
